Grants Service

The League offers an in-house grants service for our members. Led by Senior Grants Counsel Caran Curry, services include disseminating information about grant opportunities, coaching local grant writers through application processes, teaching educational and certification classes, operating a listserv and more.   

All cities and towns in Arkansas are eligible to use the National League of Cities GrantFinder database for free. For more information on this program contact Dylan McLeod.

Our Mission

The Arkansas Municipal League was founded in 1934 and exists for a threefold purpose:

  • To act as the official representative of Arkansas cities and towns before the state and federal governments
  • To provide a clearinghouse for information and answers
  • To offer a forum for discussion and sharing of mutual concerns
