Municipal Workers Comp

Municipal Workers Comp
Established in 1985, the optional Municipal Workers Comp Program (MWC) is a group self-insurance pool that provides statutorily required coverage at reasonable rates. With more than 600 participating members, MWC helps cities and towns protect their employees and volunteer workers in the event of an on-the-job injury. Program participants also gain substantial benefits from cost-containment programs provided at no additional cost, including in-house legal counsel, medical bill review and repricing, and online safety training.
The MWC team includes friendly, experienced adjusters with extensive knowledge of Arkansas workers comp requirements, as well as a full-time loss control professional to assist with injury prevention and the development of safety programs.
MWC Online Member Dashboard
Municipal Workers Comp has recently updated its computer database program in partnership with the insurance risk management software provider, Origami Risk. Officials who wish to enter workers’ compensation claims or payroll information are required to sign up as individual authorized users to access the AML/Origami Risk program. Each member entity will have its own MWC Online Member Dashboard where identified users can report and view claims, update contact information, download forms and more.
